Dear friends and colleagues,

I have been fortunate to be able to produce an interview program on a local Massachusetts cable TV station called Hopeful Aging with Dr. John Zeisel. The first two shows aired in September 2014 and a new show will air monthly from now on. The station, Bedford TV, will post all the shows on YouTube in addition to airing them on the station for a month. Local cable stations can request the show as well.

A major purpose of the show is to promote the positive public narrative that is so seldom aired about Alzheimer’s and other dementias—that with or without dementia everyone can live a hopeful & engaging life.

I want viewers to see the strengths of all of us as we age; to appreciate that disability of any sort does not have to mean that we abandon our connection to life. As I say at the start of each show: “The show’s mission is to create a life worth living for all of us as we get older, especially those with cognitive challenges, by enriching lives and offering hope.”

Please take a look.
